Eagles Range - a unique 300 acre High Country Farm, 12kms from Jindabyne and 30mins from the ski fields

Eagles Range is a working cattle property with over 100 hectares (280 acres) of grazing land (click here for directions). Your hosts, Greg and Carol Pasfield, cater for guests seeking accommodation away from crowds in peaceful surrroundings yet close to winter ski fields and summer activities such as fishing, horseriding and bushwalking.

We have done extensive renovations to the purpose built bed and breakfast to ensure a warm and comfortable stay. The homestead consists of 5 well appointed rooms each with private bathrooms. Homemade quilts adorn each bed and add to the country ambiance. Situated high on a ridge line, each room commands stunning views over the surrounding countryside and mountain ranges. A large stone fireplace is the centrepiece of the homestead situated in the lounge and dining room.

A drying room and laundry along with ski storage racks are available for guest use. Games, playing cards and books are provided but if TV is your thing, think about our deluxe room with its own tv, dvd and video player. After a full day of activity the ultimate luxury is to unwind and sooth those sore muscles in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the magnificent sunset over the mountain range.

Each morning a hot country breakfast is provided. In winter hearty dinners guaranteed to satisfy the largest appetite are available five nights a week and in summer dinners are provided by prior arrangement. Picnic lunches and hampers may also be arranged by request.

Choose to relax and unwind here on the property. The myriad of bird life including cockatoos, galahs, blue wrens and eagles makes a stay at Eagles Range a birdwatchers delight. Head off for a walk or a picnic on the property and see natives such as echidnas, kangaroos and wallabies along with plenty of rabbits, wild deer and even the occasional fox!

Eagles Range, unbelievably, is less than a 15 minute drive to the restaurants, shops and services of Jindabyne and only 40 minutes to the snow. If transport if required, we can highly recommend SkiBus - www.skibus.net.au - who have been operating regular runs from Canberra to Thredbo and Perisher Blue since 1995 and knows the business about getting people to the snow. Whether you wish to catch one of their regular bus runs, or would like them to come to Eagles Range and pick you up at a time that is more convenient to you, Skibus can arrange it for you.
